Peace...

"Peace on Earth"... is my greatest wish for humanity.

Peace is defined as "freedom from disturbance; quiet and tranquility; freedom from or the cessation of war or violence." 

It doesn't feel like that's going to happen any time soon if you're watching the news, does it? Peace can feel so far away, so impossible, so out of reach. People often laugh at dreamers who earnestly implore others around them to help hold their peaceful vision for the future.

One of our greatest dreamers was John Lennon. Remember these lyrics from Imagine?
"Imagine there's no heaven, It's easy if you try
No hell below us, Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today
Imagine there's no countries, It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for, And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace.

You may say I'm a dreamer, But I'm not the only one

What if the words he wrote generations ago could become reality?

What if it could happen in our lifetime?

That is the dream I hold close to my trusting heart. I invite you to join me for this week's Healing Our Souls episode, as we explore how our world can heal, bringing John Lennon's vision into actuality.
